Tuition & Payment Policy

Ongoing Weekly Lessons

Enrollment in Music @ Rugcutterz reserves a recurring weekly private lesson time with an instructor.

Tuition for a 30-minute weekly private lesson is $200 per month and is billed automatically each month using the payment method on file.

Monthly tuition is based on the Music @ Rugcutterz annual teaching calendar and is designed to provide families with a consistent monthly payment. Tuition is not calculated based on the number of lessons that happen to fall within an individual calendar month.

Students may join throughout the year, subject to instructor and schedule availability. Where applicable, the first month's tuition will be prorated based on the student's start date.

Find Your Sound Intro Experience

New students may choose to begin with the Find Your Sound 3-Lesson Intro Experience for $135.

The Intro Experience:

  • includes three 30-minute private lessons;
  • is available once per new student;
  • is subject to instructor and schedule availability; and
  • does not guarantee an ongoing weekly lesson time after the three lessons.

Students wishing to continue after their Intro Experience may move into ongoing weekly enrollment based on availability.

Additional Costs

Regular tuition does not include items such as books, instruments, accessories, Royal Conservatory of Music examination fees, accompanist fees or other optional examination, performance or specialty-program costs.

Families will be informed of any additional required costs before they are incurred.

Payment

A valid payment method must be kept on file for ongoing enrollment.

If a payment is declined or remains outstanding, Music @ Rugcutterz will contact the family to arrange payment. Continued non-payment may result in suspension of lessons and release of the student's reserved lesson time.

Ending Enrollment

Ongoing enrollment continues until Music @ Rugcutterz receives 30 days' written notice of withdrawal.

Tuition remains payable during the notice period, and students are welcome to attend their scheduled lessons during that time.
