Tuition & Payment Policy
Enrollment & Tuition
Enrollment in Music @ Rugcutterz may include private music lessons, group classes, introductory experiences, weekly sessions, camps and specialty programs.
Tuition and payment arrangements vary depending on the program selected. All applicable fees, payment schedules and program details will be communicated at the time of registration.
Enrollment is subject to availability and is confirmed once registration requirements have been completed and the required payment has been received.
Ongoing Weekly Lessons & Classes
Enrollment in ongoing weekly lessons or classes reserves a recurring time within the Music @ Rugcutterz teaching schedule.
Tuition is billed automatically according to the payment schedule established at registration.
Monthly tuition is based on the Music @ Rugcutterz teaching calendar and is designed to provide families with consistent payments. Tuition is not calculated based on the number of lessons that happen to fall within an individual calendar month.
Students may join throughout the year, subject to instructor and schedule availability. Where applicable, initial tuition may be prorated based on the student's start date.
Camps, Group Programs & Fixed-Term Sessions
Music @ Rugcutterz offers camps, group programs, workshops and fixed-term sessions throughout the year.
Each program has its own schedule, duration, registration requirements and payment terms, which will be communicated before enrollment.
Registration reserves a place in the selected program once payment and registration requirements have been completed.
Missed classes or camp days do not automatically qualify for refunds, credits or make-up sessions. Any exceptions will be governed by the applicable program's cancellation and make-up policy.
Find Your Sound Intro Experience
New students may choose to begin with the Find Your Sound 3-Lesson Intro Experience.
The Intro Experience:
- Includes three private introductory music lessons.
- Is available once per new student.
- Is subject to instructor and schedule availability.
- Does not guarantee an ongoing weekly lesson time following completion.
Students wishing to continue after their Intro Experience may transition into ongoing enrollment, subject to availability.
Additional Costs
Tuition and program fees do not necessarily include additional materials or services such as books, instruments, accessories, Royal Conservatory of Music examination fees, accompanist fees, costumes or other optional examination, performance or specialty-program expenses.
Families will be informed of any additional required costs before they are incurred.
Payment
Payment is required according to the terms established for the selected program.
Ongoing enrollment may require a valid payment method to be kept on file for automatic billing. Camps, introductory experiences and fixed-term programs may require payment in advance or according to a specified payment schedule.
If a payment is declined or remains outstanding, Music @ Rugcutterz will contact the family to arrange payment.
Continued non-payment may result in suspension of participation, cancellation of enrollment or release of a reserved lesson or program space.
Withdrawal & Ending Enrollment
Ongoing Weekly Lessons & Classes
Ongoing enrollment continues until Music @ Rugcutterz receives 30 days' written notice of withdrawal.
Tuition remains payable during the notice period, and students are welcome to attend their scheduled lessons or classes during that time.
Camps, Introductory Experiences & Fixed-Term Programs
Registration for camps, introductory experiences and fixed-term programs applies to the specific program or session selected.
The 30-day withdrawal notice requirement does not automatically apply to these programs.
Cancellations, refunds, credits and transfers are subject to the cancellation terms communicated at registration and the applicable Music @ Rugcutterz cancellation policy.
Changes to Programs & Scheduling
Music @ Rugcutterz reserves the right to make reasonable adjustments to program schedules, instructors, class groupings or program offerings when necessary.
Families will be notified of significant changes that affect their enrollment.
If Music @ Rugcutterz cancels a program or cannot provide the registered service, families will be offered an appropriate alternative, credit or refund for services not delivered.
